ECOMP

Introduction

The Employees' Compensation Operations & Management Portal (ECOMP) may be used to electronically file reports of injury or illness, as well as claims for benefits under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA). If you have not previously logged in to ECOMP, you will first need to create an account using the "Sign In/Register" link on the ECOMP home page. After you register for an account, you will need to verify your identity.

Please note we have instructional tabs that provide step by step instructions and a video to assist with registering for an ECOMP account and identity verification.

Once you register and verify your identity, you will have access to information about your FECA claims. You will also be able to view and respond to letters from the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP).

The following forms may be submitted via ECOMP:

After logging into the ECOMP web site and completing your portion of the form, ECOMP will electronically forward it to your supervisor, who will review it, complete the employer portion of the form, and forward it to your agency's assigned ECOMP Agency Reviewer (AR) or OSHA Record Keeper (ORK). The AR or ORK will perform a final review of the form and file or forward it as needed.

If your organization has elected to use ECOMP for filing OSHA Form 301, federal employees must first complete this form before initiating a CA-1 or CA-2 via ECOMP.

Please note we have instructional tabs that provide step by step instructions and a video on how to file Form CA-1, Form CA-2, Form CA-7, Form CA-7a, and OSHA Form 301.
